NSW COVID cases: Macquarie University, Sydney trains, Ripples Restaurant on alert

NSW Health authorities have expanded their list of COVID-affected venues, as they race to get two coronavirus clusters under control.

A health alert has been issued to diners at Monopole Restaurant in Potts Point after an infected person visited the restaurant on Sunday October 4 from 6-8pm.

Health authorities are working to contact close and casual contacts but anyone who was there at the time is advised to get tested for COVID-19 immediately if they develop symptoms.

Almost a dozen different train routes have also been added to the list of affected venues.

They include:

  • Train from Parramatta at 2.41pm arriving Town Hall 3.31pm on 4th October
  • Train from Town Hall at 5.29pm arriving Kings Cross 5.50pm on 4th October
  • Train from Artarmon at 11.18pm arriving Central 11.48pm on 5th October
  • Bus replacement from Central at 11.48 arriving Strathfield 12.15am on 5th October
  • Train from Strathfield at 12.15am arriving Parramatta 12.45am on 5th October
  • Bus 550 from Epping Station, Beecroft Rd, Stand D at 5.08pm to Smith St after Phillip St, Parramatta 5.41pm on 6th October
  • Train from Moss Vale 4.52am arriving Liverpool 7.09am on 6th October
  • Train from Liverpool 4.58pm arriving Moss Vale 7.12pm on 6th October
  • Train from Moss Vale 4.51am arriving Liverpool 7.08am on 7th October
  • Train from Campbelltown 1.31pm arriving Moss Vale 3.50pm on 7th October

Anyone who travelled on these routes is advised to get tested immediately if they develop any symptoms.
