Uniglo (GLO) Holders Buying More On The Cheap Instead Of Bitcoin (BTC) And Ripple (XRP)

Investors must now make tricky decisions that will greatly impact their economic future. Jerome Powell adopted a hawkish tone in his keynote speech from Jackson Hole on the 26th of August. As a result, markets shuddered with the overall message delivering the idea that the FED will continue with rate hikes. The S&P 500 dropped nearly 3.5% with the news, and globally assets retraced.

Investors currently have the opportunity to go against the crowd, to buy when others are scared, and lay the groundwork for massive profits in the next bull market cycle. A new social-currency Uniglo (GLO), coming to the Ethereum Network, seems perfectly designed for the current market conditions, and its current price point makes it a genuine crypto gem. On-chain data shows that holders are continuing to accumulate GLO instead of buying Bitcoin (BTC) and Ripple (XRP).

Uniglo (GLO)

Uniglo is the first viable alternative for investors. Fiat has rapidly declined in value with inflation; inflation that remains persistent and erodes the currency’s value. Digital assets have experienced dire volatility, and investors have been forced to make a difficult choice. Uniglo is leveraging asset ownership, a technique used by the ultra-rich for generations, to offer a store of value that grows with time.

GLO’s tokenomics include buy and sell taxes with a portion used for asset acquisition. The assets will be stored in the Uniglo Vault and will be a blend of digital and physical. The physical items will include high-value collectables such as gold and fine art; the latter has proven a tremendous store of value and has outperformed stocks and digital assets in 2022. Through diversification, Uniglo allows investors to hedge against volatility and inflation whilst partaking in growth speculation.

Bitcoin (BTC)

Bitcoin briefly dropped below $20,000 following Jerome Powell’s speech. For months $20,000 has marked a critical psychological price point for investors, and with the dollar’s continued strength, it looks like Bitcoin will find new lows.

Bitcoin operates in unknown territory. Bitcoin has never experienced a recession; it has only existed as an asset during a massive bull run. With a recession arriving, no one knows how Bitcoin will perform. But for investors with a long-term horizon, it remains a highly viable investment.

Ripple (XRP)

Ripple is one of the oldest digital assets in the space and was initially launched in 2012. It aims to direct liquidity globally at low cost and high speed. XRP can be sent anywhere globally within seconds at a nominal cost, and this allows financial institutions to operate with greater capital efficiency. Despite cross-border payments being valued at more than $150 trillion in 2022, sending money internationally remains slow and expensive.

Ripple is the infrastructure connecting financial institutions around the globe and bringing them into the 21st century.
