‘India Blockchain Forum’ Launched To Facilitate Web3 Adoption

On Sunday, Indian crypto leaders launched ‘India Blockchain Forum’, with the aim of facilitating Web3 adoption and Blockchain technology and thus helping India to become a global crypto hub. The organisation was launched in Hyderabad, Telangana.

As per reports, the organisation was launched by Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industry & Commerce and Information Technology, Govt of Telangana. 

India Blockchain Forum(IBF) is intending to build community chapters across India for better education and access to best global best crypto practices. IBF will also open membership to all stakeholders with a mission to create the world’s largest web3.0 community.

The Forum proposes a partnership with government authorities, regulatory bodies, Crypto Industry and academia to collectively create a holistic framework for the right adoption of blockchain and web3.0. A 10 point agenda has been created to serve as a collective stage for creating India Blockchain Stack and use cases library.

Speaking at the launch of IBF, Ranjan said, “This sandbox will help create a meaningful dialogue among all the stakeholders, including regulators, start-ups and policy-makers to arrive at a nuanced approach to evolving an effective Web3 framework.”

IBF will also have several Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to take care of areas like CBDC, Metaverse, Policy framework and NFTs for blockchain and Web3.0 adoption. More than 40 crypto influencers are a part of this forum.

Other significant founders of IBF are Prasanna Lohar, CEO, Block Stack; Pankaj Diwan, Founder & CEO, Idealabs FutureTech Ventures; Col Inderjit Singh, Chief Cyber Security Officer, Vara Technologies; Srinivas Mahankali, Chief Business Officer, Secure Kloud Technologies and Sharat Chandra, Blockchain Evangelist.
