Funk-soul-blues band Big Wave Dave & The Ripples is scheduled to headline the Great Twin Ports Get Together, a free family-friendly event featuring food and other entertainment from noon-6 p.m. Sunday at Wade Stadium in Duluth.
“We’re returning back to normal, let’s have a party and celebrate,” according to the events signage, which advertises Rock-A-Billy Revue, Boydz Revival & Friends, Bacon and Danny Frank. Comedian Danny Friedman is on the bill, along with a bounce house and kids games.
There will be food trucks and popcorn, hotdogs and beer available. A nonperishable food donation to CHUM is suggested.
