Scotch Finger, Tiny Teddy, Choc Ripple

Biscuit icon Arnott’s has released some of their most-loved biccies for Coeliacs.

In the days of yesteryear, getting a gluten-free diagnosis was a pretty sad day, because it meant giving up a lot.

As a coeliac myself, when I first got diagnosed over 13 years ago, we had to make our own bread and it was very difficult to order out.

Flash forward to 2021 and we can get gluten-free pizza in Italian restaurants, gluten-free pies from the supermarket and find yes, gluten-free ravioli on the shelves.

Does it get better than that?

Yes, ladies and gentlemen. I’m here to tell you that it does, because biscuit-empire Arnott’s have released three of its classic biscuits, made with gluten-free ingredients.

The options available include the mouth-watering Scotch Finger, lunchbox favourite Tiny Teddy and dip-it-in-your-tea icon Choc Ripple.

The new range is made in Australia with a gluten free flour blend, made from locally sourced maize, tapioca, rice, sorghum, and soy.

Graham Fairbairn, Arnott’s Brand Manager said, “With millions of consumers seeking out snacks that are both gluten free AND delicious, we decided it was time to treat them to biscuits that meet their dietary requirements without compromising on taste. When it comes to Arnott’s, there’s no substitute.”

The biscuits all meet the strict criteria of Coeliac Australia and feature the logo on the pack so you can easily identify it as safe.

Arnott’s say that great care was taken to achieve the delicious flavour and buttery crumble of the Scotch Finger, all the way down to the ‘cocoa crunch’ of the Choc Ripple.

Arnott’s Gluten Free Favourites will be available exclusively at Woolworths from 19 July and can be found in the biscuit aisle at a RRP of $4.70.
