Grand Rapids is feeling the ripple effects of Monday night’s storm

Strong winds caused roughly 4700 power outages. Crews have been working to restore power throughout the day Tuesday. Some roads are closed off as a result.

Super One, in particular, has been without power since 7:00 p.m. Monday night—forcing them to close early and remain closed throughout the day Tuesday as they work to salvage any and all food that they can.

Tonight on WDIO, we will share input from community about this storm and the cleanup necessary to recover.
