How Coinbase’s Legal Team Expanded at ‘Crypto Speed,’ Navigated Public Debut

In the nine months that Paul Grewal has held the title of chief legal officer at Coinbase Global Inc., the legal department has more than doubled in size and the company has gone all-in on remote working while making history as the first major cryptocurrency firm to go public. 

“Life moves pretty fast,” as Ferris Bueller famously said, but the rapid pace of life at Coinbase, much like the crypto world in general, is on a different level.
