Magneuris Sierra and Lewis Brinson—expected to be recalled from the Fish Tank once Marte is officially placed on the IL—are the main beneficiaries of this loss. They have combined for only one start in 2021. Jon Berti should also see an uptick in playing time (he’s been limited to 31 plate appearances through the first 15 Marlins games).
