The price of the Bitcoin has risen above $50,000 again (over €41,130) after having dropped in recent days.

The cryptocurrency picked up again after news broke that Square, a payment company run by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, had bought $170 million worth of Bitcoins.

The Bitcoin hit a record level of over $58,000 last weekend. However, it dropped after a tweet by Elon Musk mentioning that Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency Ethereum “do seem high lol.”

On Monday, Musk’s company Tesla’s share dropped by 8.6%. His tweet may be to blame for it, according to Bloomberg news agency. The loss dethroned him as the richest man in the world.
