BOONVILLE — On Saturday afternoon, Forbush and Starmount took to the court in a preseason scrimmage. It was an odd atmosphere in Boonville, as the gym is usually packed when these two teams meet. Instead, this season the gym was empty and the score was not kept. Both teams saw the scrimmage as a practice, but that did not let up on the feeling of the rivalry.

The scrimmage was a way for the teams to play each other, while still being able to work on their plays for the upcoming season. Neither team will play each other during the regular season, as COVID restrictions are allowing just conference games. With the score not kept by either side, there is not an “official” score to report. Both teams put up points on the board, and both teams came away with a win.
