Big Something shared pro-shot video of guitarist Nick MacDaniels covering the Grateful Dead’s “Ripple.” Videographer Mike Baker captured the clip during Big Something’s 2019 New Year’s Eve concert at Raleigh’s Lincoln Theatre in the band’s home state of North Carolina.
Big Something is set to return to the Lincoln Theatre once again this year for a livestreamed New Year’s run. The shows will stream for free on the JamBase Livestreams Calendar, nugs.tv and more with donations heading to the Lincoln Theatre as part of the #saveourstages initiative.
“New Year’s Eve at Lincoln Theatre has become one of our favorite traditions,” MacDaniels said in a recent statement. “And even though it’s gonna be a little different this year without our friends and fans joining us in person, we’re still really excited to make these shows happen virtually and help support our hometown music venue.”
