YADKINVILLE — Saturday was an action packed day at the Yadkin County Park, as Yadkin County Soccer Association games were back in action. On a chilly Saturday morning, the Forbush Red and West Yadkin Gold put up a hard fought 40 minute battle. Both teams were evenly matched across the field, from offensive positions to their defensive positions. Although the teams were matched evenly, Forbush Red was able to sneak past West Yadkin Gold to score the lone goal of the match. Forbush Red held off their opponents until the final whistle blew, and the Red were able to take a 1-0 win over the Gold.
