The Center Bistro kitchen renovated

Updates made to the kitchen at Yadkin Arts Council’s Center Bistro.

The Center Bistro, which has served as a Yadkin County lunch and breakfast staple for the last decade, has undergone much needed renovations to its kitchen. While the old kitchen served the bistro just fine for the last ten years, the team decided that it was time for a change in order to make things more efficient, clean, and bright. The many updates included a new dish washing room complete with a new sink and drying racks, rearranged prep spaces for a more efficient work flow, a new ceiling, repainted walls, and updated storage solutions.

Throughout this long period of uncertainty, The Center Bistro has been lucky enough to remain open at 50% capacity and their hours of operations have been and will remain 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday-Friday. It has been a process getting back into the swing of things while maintaining social distancing and sanitation requirements, but at this time they are offering counter service for patrons and inviting them to stay and eat at the indoor and outdoor tables. The Bistro has increased safety practices by installing hand sanitizer stations at all of the entrances, implementing use of a fogging sanitizing machine, and having the front of house and kitchen staff wearing masks (customers are also required to wear them while ordering at the counter but are able to take them off once seated).

While things are still uncertain for the Fall 2020 Willingham Theater season, patrons are always welcome to visit the Bistro, tour the Red Wall and Welborn Gallery, and of course say hey to all of the staff at the Yadkin Arts Council.

The Center Bistro is located at 226 East Main Street, Yadkinville. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Breakfast and 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. for lunch.
