Dr. Claire Jarashow on the COVID-19 “Ripple Effect” – Pasadena Schools

Dr. Claire Jarashow, Ph.D., MPH, and Poly ‘96 graduate, possesses a wealth of international and national public health experience. She will be sharing her knowledge with the Poly community on Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. Dr. Jarashow serves as the Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as consults for the World Health Organization to leading the Epidemiology and Data unit for the COVID-19 response for L.A. County Department of Public Health. She is now pivoting to lead the COVID-19 vaccine response for the county. She will address “the ripple effect” of COVID-19 from the global to the local, public health challenges, and successes in the COVID-19 response thus far.
