Civil rights activist Dolores Huerta to receive honor along with Dr. Anthony Fauci, Colin Kaepernick

Civil rights activist Dolores Huerta will soon be receiving another honor, this time alongside one of the most known faces in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights foundation announced its recipients for its “Ripple of Hope” awards and named Huerta one of the five to receive the honor.

Huerta will be joined by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, who has become a prominent figure in the fight against the coronavirus.

Also being honored will be former NFL quarterback and human rights activist Colin Kaepernick.

Rounding out the group will be the chief executive officers for PayPal and DocuSign Dan Schulman and Dan Springer.

A virtual ceremony is scheduled to take place Dec. 10.
