The popular crypto rankings website of Coinmarketcap has continually evolved since Binance acquired the platform in early April this year. During the announcement of the acquisition back in April, the CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, clarified that Coinmarketcap would be an independent entity that will instill transparency in the industry as well as continue providing unbiased crypto data.

Coinmarketcap Launches a Headlines Section for Crypto News

It is with this vision of continually providing the most accurate, timely and quality crypto information, that Coinmarketcap has launched a ‘Headlines’ section on the site to provide the latest in Crypto News and project updates.

Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao, made the announcement via a Twitter poll that asked if users would want to receive crypto news on Coinmarketcap. At the time of writing this, 58% of respondents were in favor of the idea.

To access the Headlines page on Coinmarketcap, one needs to click on the 3 dots at the top of the main webpage as illustrated in the screenshot below. Clicking this option will provide a drop-down menu with ‘Headlines’ as one of the choices.

Once in the headlines section of Coinmarketcap, you are met with a list of news updates from popular crypto publications such as CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, The Block, Decrypt and more.
