The self-preservation subtype is an instinctual variation that is geared toward basic survival requirements. Type Eight
Type Eight is an instinctual type that combines a love of life with the desire for material security. People with this temperament have a strong desire to protect their family and friends. They are also competitive and decisive, sporting a huge energy and an intense appetite. Their physical presence is unmistakable, and they are never unwilling to stand up for themselves. In addition, they are tough and practical, with a an unstoppable desire to be the most dominant among other people.
This instinctual variant is a combination of sexual desire and lust to create a charismatic personality database. An Eight with this combination tends to possess lots of material possessions, making them hard to part with. This is what makes them more inclined to engage in political activities. The Type Eight is associated with the Passion of Lust. It is driven by the desire to live every moment to the fullest and will often use force to satisfy its Dominant Instinct desires. Type Six

The Sexual Six is perhaps the most difficult to identify of the Six subtypes, yet it is also the most fearful. These people are afraid of being abandoned , and they have a lot of friendships due to their fear of being rejected. Although they portray love, tenderness and peace, their inner emotions are driven by fear of losing security. In the end, the SP Six feels the need to be “good” and avoid causing offence to other people.
The Sexual Sixes often act against perceived danger. They may appear to be rebels, risk takers, or troublemakers. They may even exhibit hero-complexes.
Type Seven
Type Seven is an instinctual variation that exhibits intense energy, extreme behavior and material success. The self-pres instinct of this subtype is the final one, making them successful but also impulsive and dependent. They require direct feedback and the chance to process their feelings. They may need to take some time to process the feedback and may require assistance from others in order to achieve their goals.
The Eight instinctual type is more soft than the subtype of self-preservation/social. This subtype, while still showing self-preservation traits and social abilities, is more focused on group dynamics. They are also sociable and charismatic. They can be mistaken for Sevens and often manipulate and deceive people with their social awareness.
The Sexual Seven is a strong comedian with a keen eye for humor. Sexuality is not atypical for them but they don’t seem to care about having sexual relations. Instead they are more focused on the idealized relationship they envision with someone. While this can be amusement, this tendancy can make intimacy seem risky for girls in the Sevens.
The self-pres/sexual subtype has many characteristics that are shared by the other types, but is a distinct one. The Seven is a person who wants to see everything and can get discontent when life becomes dull. It can also be frustrating when people don’t like them. This subtype can also be more intense and be prone to dark, Instinctual Variant nihilistic ideas.
As a result Sevens can easily get too in love with their romantic partners. They might become clingy but they don’t want to lose their independence. Sevens are very selfish when they are in unhealthy relationships. Their relationships are typically based solely on their desires.
