Iredell man charged with area thefts of car parts

An Iredell County man is in custody after the alleged thefts of catalytic convertors near two area churches. The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office received a series of reports involving multiple larcenies of catalytic convertors. The reports were received from Peace Haven Baptist Church as well as Flat Rock Baptist Church.

During the criminal investigations, along with narcotics investigations, arrest warrants were issued for Isaac Nolan Turner Branon, 24 year old, resident of Iredell County.

Branon was charged with felony larceny, felony larceny of motor vehicle parts, felony conspiracy to commit larceny, felony maintain place of controlled substances, misdemeanor possession drug paraphernalia. As a result of these charges, Branon received a $25,000.00 secured bond.

Branon is currently incarcerated in the Yadkin County Detention Center with a scheduled court date of June 2.
